Ben, portrayed by Zane Phillips, is a gay character and a god, also referred to as a demigod, who first appeared in the ninth episode of the 4th season of Legacies. Ben initially came across overly formal and removed from others, but after quickly warming to Jed his attitude relaxed. Ben is a compassionate person who prefers not to intrude upon others, having wanted to move on from the school as to not cause them any problems, and he easily forgave the monsters such as the Pukwudgie for hurting him and attempting- and in many cases, succeeding- to kill him when it was revealed they compelled by the curse and were not hunting him of their own free will. He also shows patience and consideration towards Jed with how new romance with a man may be for him, and despite being eager to begin something with Jed kept reassuring him that "it's alright if [Jed] not ready".
He has a playful side, mostly shown around Jed, but also when confronted by Aurora. Ben messes with her by reciting a cocktail recipe as a method of killing Hope, and encourages her to do her best with torturing him. He has little regard for his own welfare, yet values the lives of others immensely; as seen when he protects MG from the Pukwudgie, shouting for the others to run from it, and when he laughs at Aurora for torturing him. He doesn't cave to her questioning until she threatens to kill all the students at the school one by one, at which point he tells her everything so she'll leave quietly. He also appears to be very honest, easily telling Jed about his life and immediately coming clean to Cleo what he'd told Aurora. Ben immediately attempted to get himself chained up far into the woods away from the school after Hope breaks the bracelet neutralizing his curse in order to protect others, and had to be killed by Hope to stop him from trying to leave after Jed was attacked as to prevent anyone else from being hurt too.
