Armand "Mondo" Duplantis is a Swedish-American pole vaulter who holds the current world record and is considered the greatest vaulter of all time. Born in Louisiana in 1999 to an American father and Swedish mother, he competes internationally for Sweden. He is a two-time Olympic champion (2020 and 2024) and a multiple-time World and European champion. Duplantis set the world record with a jump of 6.30 meters and is known for his regular record-breaking performances.
