Aracy Balabanian (Campo Grande, February 22, 1940 – Rio de Janeiro, August 7, 2023) was a Brazilian actress. She debuted on television in 1964 on RecordTV in Marcados pelo Amor and, subsequently, moved to TV Tupi, where she was promoted to the role of protagonist of the network's main works, such as Antônio Maria, Nino, o Italianinho and A Fábrica. In 1972 she arrived at Rede Globo, standing out in soap operas such as Locomotivas, Rainha da Sucata, A Próxima Vítima, Da Cor do Pecado, Passione, Cheias de Charme and in the sitcom Sai de Baixo. In a brief stint on Rede Manchete, she was the protagonist of Mania de Querer. A five-time Press Trophy nominee, Balabanian won one in 1995, as well as an APCA Award and a Best of the Year Award, for her antagonistic role in A Próxima Vitima.
