Anton Pampushnyy (born May 5, 1982) is a prominent Kazakh-born Russian actor known for his physical presence and versatility in high-budget action and historical epics. After graduating from the Moscow Art Theatre School (V.G. Martynov’s course) in 2007, he gained national fame for his starring role as the legendary bogatyr in the historical fantasy Alexander: The Neva Battle (2008). He achieved international recognition for his portrayal of Arsus, the bear-transforming shapeshifter, in the 2017 superhero film Guardians (Zashchitniki). His filmography features a consistent focus on intense, character-driven roles, including lead performances in the war drama The Balkan Line (2019) and the sci-fi action film Coma (2020).
