Ângela Maria, artistic name of Abelim Maria da Cunha (Macaé, May 13, 1929 – São Paulo, September 29, 2018), was a Brazilian singer, composer and actress, exponent of the Radio Era, considered the owner one of the best voices in MPB and elected Queen of Radio in 1954. She is also one of the Brazilian singers who sold the most records, around 60 million records. Angela Maria is known by major national and international music critics as the greatest voice in Brazil.
