Alyssa Maria Melani

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Alyssa Maria Melani is an actor, writer, producer, and singer known for Becoming BFA: The Showcase Showdown (2023), Dear Zoe (2022) and Darlings (2022). Her goal is to use art as a means to explore and uncover aspects of the human experience that we're often too scared to talk about. She wants to create art that makes people feel less alone, spotlighting the "ugly" parts of life. Whether it's through poetry, film, theatre, or music: the work she's interested in all comes from a desire to find beauty in the messiness of life.
