Alexander "Alex" Frederick Corvis is the protagonist of the 2000 film, The Crow: Salvation, portrayed by Eric Mabius.
Corvis was a young man from Salt Lake City, Utah, who was framed for the brutal murder of his girlfriend, Lauren Randall. Despite proclaiming his innocence, he was sentenced to death and three years later, executed in the electric chair. After his execution, a mystical crow resurrects Alex, granting him supernatural abilities to seek justice and clear his name.
Unlike other protagonists in The Crow franchise whose appearances are often described as makeup, Alex's unique facial marks are scar tissue resulting from the electric chair's helmet during his execution. He is also able to see through the eyes of the crow and has psychometric powers, allowing him to feel past sensations and pain by touching objects.
