Aleksandr Metelkin (born June 24, 1992) is a prominent Russian film and theater actor who has become a staple of contemporary Russian cinema through his roles in high-budget historical epics and popular comedies. Originally from Tuapse, he graduated from the Moscow Art Theatre School in 2016 and quickly established himself with performances in notable projects such as Union of Salvation (2019) and the action thriller Russian Raid (2020). He gained widespread recognition for his leading role as Ivan in the live-action fantasy musical The Flying Ship (2024) and for his work in the war drama Dugout (Blindazh). By late 2025, Metelkin continues to be one of the industry's most sought-after talents, starring in the 2025 epic action film Zloy Gorod (Fierce Town) and appearing in the anticipated series Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears: Everything is Just Beginning.
