Synopsis

The year is 1985. The United States is a closed and totalitarian nation, isolated from the rest of the world. The presence of nuclear arsenals and so-called superheroes maintains a certain balance between the forces of the planet... until the end of the Doomsday Clock starts ticking midnight and the human race in an endless abyss. The dark and unique plot begins with the paranoid delusions of the supposedly insane hero Rorschach, one of the Watchmen who patrolled the US decades ago. But was he really mad or did he really uncover a sordid conspiracy to murder superheroes - or worse yet, millions of innocent civilians? On the run from the law, Rorschach teams up with former comrades from the past in a desperate attempt to save their own lives... and what they discover, in addition to shaking its structures, could alter the very fate of planet Earth! Following two generations of masked heroes, from World War II to the tense years of the Cold War, comes this pioneering epic of hate, love, impossible reunions, big twists and lots of action.

Description of Silk Spectre (Espectral):

Silk Spectre, Sally "Jupiter" Juspeczyk, was a member of the crimefighting team the Minutemen, while the second, Sally's daughter Laurel "Laurie" Jane Juspeczyk, became a member of the vigilante team Crimebusters, also known as the titular Watchmen.
