When the Riddler steals classified Suicide Squad files and hides them in Arkham Asylum, ruthless A.R.G.U.S. director Amanda Waller assembles a team of expendable super-criminals—Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, King Shark, Killer Frost, Black Spider, and KGBeast—to break in and retrieve them, with nano-bombs implanted in their necks to ensure compliance. But Waller's true mission is to silence the Riddler, who knows how to disarm the bombs. As the Squad infiltrates the asylum, they must contend with Batman, who is searching for a dirty bomb hidden by the Joker. Double-crosses multiply, the Joker escapes, and the inmates are unleashed in a chaotic breakout. The surviving Squad members fight to escape while Batman races to stop the bomb and confront Waller's ruthless machinations.
