Synopsis

The series revolves around the titular "witcher", Geralt of Rivia. In Sapkowski's works, "witchers" are beast hunters who develop supernatural abilities at a young age to battle wild beasts and monsters. Description of Triss Merigold (Fourteenth of the Hill):

A sorceress about half the age of Yennefer and looks "like a teenager". In the books, her hair is described as "chestnut", "auburn", "ginger" and "red", and she has cornflower blue eyes. She always leaves her hair down - "her hair - long, full locks the colour of fresh chestnuts, with a sheen of gold, her pride and identifying characteristic...Beautiful, long, loose hair was a rarity, an indication of a woman's position, her status, the sign of a free woman, a woman who belonged to herself.“
