Synopsis

A regular festival celebrating the birth of the Mushroom Kingdom is upended when Princess Peach is kidnapped by special agents of the Koopa Kingdom, triggering a war betwixt the two enemies. Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and Toad set out on an adventure to defeat King Bowser, rescue the Princess, and end the war, but soon become swept up in a race to reach the Koopa capital before Bowser can force Peach to marry him and gain control of the Mushroom lands.
