Fan Casting Thomas Callahan in THE BLAIR WITCHES

A hardened, fifty-something lawman who has spent his entire life in Burkittsville. Callahan initially dismisses Rebecca's theories, but his determination to find the children outweighs his hostility toward the press and becomes her guide. He then grows increasingly agitated as the forest begins resembling locations from his childhood that should no longer exist. It soon becomes apparent that he knows considerably more about the Blair Witch legend than he initially admitted. Years earlier, Callahan's younger sister disappeared in the forest under circumstances eerily similar to those of the missing schoolchildren. His family always believed she had wandered off and died, but Callahan has privately suspected something else.
