In the first post-credits scene of this final movie, we see an elderly Bastila Shan lying on her bed inside her retreat on the planet Lothal, with her friends and family beside her in her final moments. Before she becomes one with the Force, Bastila turns to her all-grown-up son, Vanner Shan, who had just won the election as the new Supreme Chancellor of the Republic, and tells him: "Your father would be proud if he were here, my son..."
