Fan Casting Salakk in Robert Smigel's Green Lantern

A crabby, four-armed Green Lantern with a purple, elongated football-shaped head who is perpetually disgusted by Jud's existence. Salakk has no patience for incompetence, disorder, or pistachio nuts—he delivers the single-word dismissal of Jud's ring usage with utter contempt. His barking, aggressive delivery hides a deep sense of responsibility for the Corps; he confesses with rare vulnerability that he failed to receive Abin Sur's distress signal in time. Salakk is the angry uncle of the Lanterns—grumpy, judgmental, but fiercely committed to the mission.
