Fan Casting Kilowog in Robert Smigel's Green Lantern

An 8'3", 600-pound mass of orange-skulled muscle and fangs who serves as the Corps' gruff but lovable drill sergeant. Kilowog is tasked with training Jud and immediately dismisses him as a "Poozer" (rookie) who couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag. Despite his intimidating size and booming voice, Kilowog has a soft heart—he left a lady behind on his home planet to serve the Corps and secretly misses her. His friendship with Jud becomes one of the film's emotional anchors, as the two misfits bond over their shared sense of being outsiders.
