Fan Casting Jud Plato in Robert Smigel's Green Lantern

A slovenly, perpetually hung-over reality TV contestant in his early 30s whose only claim to "fearlessness" is a dead spot on his tongue from a childhood carnival accident. When a dying alien's magic ring chooses him as the next Green Lantern, Jud gains the power to create anything he imagines—which he immediately uses to impress women, clean his apartment, and avoid real responsibility.
