Joaquin Phoenix's Joker Cinematic Universe
In the 1980s, Oswald Cobblepot is an overweight and physically disabled man who was the son of a millionaire family in Gotham City, but due to an incident, he and his family fell into poverty. He is an outcast from society who is shunned and belittled in Gotham City. He decides that the only way to gain respect and regain the glory of the family from him, he will have to become a feared crime lord, while he becomes the famous supervillain ''The Penguin.''
