Synopsis

The evil sorcerer Shang Tsung is making an attempt to open a portal between Earthrealm and the Outworld to exact his revenge against his former brothers from the Shaolin Order of Light. It has been the quest of his lifetime, and with the help from the Ninja Clan of Lin Kuei Assassins he is a step closer to achieving his goal. The Lord Protector of Earthrealm, Raiden and Earth's Champions are the only one's standing in his way.

Description of Sub-Zero (Bi-Han Liang):

One of the finnest assasins of the Lin Kuei Ninja Clan. He's been contacted by the mysterious sorcerer Shang Tsung and commanded to infiltrate The Sacred Shaolin Temple in Honan Province, China. His mission is to retrieve a bunch of sacred scrolls for the sorcerer. In return he will be paid with a generous sum of gold and some precious information: the location of the last surviving descendants of the Takeda family, desertors and fugitives of the Lin Kuei Clan and founders of the extint Shirai Ryu Clan.
