Description of Old Shang Tsung:

This would be the original form of Shang Tsung as the movie begins. He is a former member of the White Lotus Secret Society of Shaolin Monks, long outcasted from Order for his constant search for knowledge in the Black Arts. After his departure from the Shaolin Temple (age 34) he reclused himself in a misterious Fortress Island protected by dangerous montain cliffs, high tide and everlasting fog. Since then, he has devoted his life to the search of a hidden doorway to The Outworld hoping to get hold to the mysteries and powers of black magic that surround that Realm. He's getting close to it, and his revenge on Earthrealm's Order of Light is near.
