Synopsis

The evil sorcerer Shang Tsung is making an attempt to open a portal between Earthrealm and the Outworld to exact his revenge against his former brothers from the Shaolin Order of Light. It has been the quest of his lifetime, and with the help from the Ninja Clan of Lin Kuei Assassins he is a step closer to achieving his goal. The Lord Protector of Earthrealm, Raiden and Earth's Champions are the only one's standing in his way.

Sonya Blade is stationed in China as part of an Elite Group of American and English Officers dispached to find and catch Kano, the head of an International Crime Organization known as Black Dragon. Her journey will also lead her to Shaolin Temple, where she will witness the power of a menace out of this world.
