In the year 1973, former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Brian Braddock, Knight of Merlyn and current bearer of the title of Captain Britain (in this universe, at least), is on the run with his twin sister, Liz, getting involved with a larger conspiracy based in Great Britain.
