Fan Casting Lt. General Hawk in Martin Campbell's G.I. Joe

Hawk is the commanding officer of the G.I. Joe team, a stern, battle-hardened general who has spent a decade fighting Destro's ambitions. He briefs the brass on the Greenland mission, appeals on his team's behalf when they're discharged, and serves as a mentor and father figure to Duke. He coordinates the final assault on Area 59 and mourns Rex at the funeral.
