In the hell of the Vietnam War, the best care anywhere can be found at the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital, where Hawkeye Pierce leads an oddball group of surgeons, nurses, and other assorted military riff-raff. The war drags on, the wounded pile in, doctors come and go…so what better way to maintain the little sanity they have left than with a sense of humor?
