Description of Hayami Kiyamasa (The Sparrow):

Hayami Kiyamasa was a young orphaned girl that was taken in by the ruthless Okura ninja clan, one of the many ninja clans fighting for power in Japan. She was forced to endure the cruelest of training under the mysterious Sakai Okura, who would often punish her for the slightest of infractions. She did however find warmth and companionship in another young recruit named Kamiya Kasshin, who acted like an older sister to Haymai and was willing to protect her at all costs. At the age of 18, they tried to escape but were hunted down by the clan. Hayami made it out alive, while Kamiya was not so lucky.
