The ASP Tour President and veteran commentator who makes the controversial call that disqualifies Billy's final wave. He's the authority figure who represents the establishment Billy rebels against. His no-nonsense demeanor and real-world surfing credibility lend authenticity to the contest scenes and Billy's subsequent downward spiral.
