After Drago is banished to the neatherworld along with his father, Shendu, the J-Team take a break. Jackie is still doing archaology. Uncle runs the shop along with the Enforcers, who are now good. Torhu, who is now a full chi wizard, still helps out with the shop. Jade is now an agent of Section 13 and sometimes hangs out with Valmont, who is now her school bus driver. All of the sudden, Daolon Wong, with the help Bartholomew Chang and the Chang Gang, awakens a new evil and the J-Team must reunite to take down this threat. Meanwhile Jade's parents are moved to Section 13 for safety.
