After a series of inexplicable deaths surrounding the royal family of Vlatava, Oliver Queen investigates the odd occurrences only to find that each death can be linked back to one individual: Count Werner Vertigo. And so, Queen decides to put together a team of metahumans to help him take down the corrupt politician and put a stop to Vertigo’s scheme. However Queen and his team’s plan is compromised when Amanda Waller gets wind of the situation and sends in her own team to take down Vertigo: the Suicide Squad.
