Synopsis

story begins with Seattle, Washington being plagued by a series of murders, which Edward Cullen suspects is caused by a newborn vampire with an uncontrollable thirst for human blood. While Edward and Bella enroll in colleges, Bella tells Edward that she wants to visit her friend, Jacob Black, a Native American Quileute who, like some other members of the tribe, can turn a wolf into a wolf. Edward worries about Bella's safety, but she guarantees that neither Jacob nor the wolf pack would hurt her. During a visit, Jacob tells Bella that he is in love with her; he wants her to choose him over Edward. Bella tells Jacob that she regards him only as a friend. Meanwhile, Alice Cullen has a vision that the vampire Victoria has returned to Forks. Victoria seeks to kill Bella to avenge her mate, James' death.

Description of Diego (SOLDIER OF VICTORIA):

Diego He and One of Seattle's Newborn Vampire Army Member Diego was one of the newborn vampires presented only in the novel Eclipse, The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner. He was a more reliable member of the Seattle newborn army due to his natural sense of responsibility and mature behavior. Unfortunately, it was not enough to save his life when Victoria tormented him to death for discovering the harmless effect of sunlight on vampires, which she kept secret from the rest of the army. Diego became Bree Tanner's mate shortly before he died.
