Synopsis

The kingdoms of the High Heavens and the Pits of the Burning Hells engage in an eternal war. The battle has spread into the world of human kind known as the Sin War. After the Prime Evils were banished to the mortal realm, one of the Prime Evils, Diablo - Lord of Terror and survivor of the Dark Exile from Hell, has awoken from his slumber. He revealed the dark powers that have brought discord to our world. Now he is on a quest to awaken his brothers, Mephisto - Lord of Hatred and Baal - Lord of Destruction, to retake the Burning Hells, invade the world of human kind and ultimately destroy the High Heavens. Our heroes must defeat evil before all realms are lost forever.

King Leoric was formerly the ruling monarch of Khanduras. Once a devout follower of the Zakarum faith, he was ultimately corrupted by Diablo, the result being the end of his line, his kingdom and everything he strove for.
