Synopsis

DC vs Marvel: Access to Amalgam is an animated superhero film based on the 1996 intercompany crossover comic book miniseries released by DC Comics and Marvel Comics. Due to recent cosmic events that tore the fabric of the multiverses and altered reality, two beings known as the Brothers—the embodiments of both the Marvel and DC multiverses—remembered one other's existence and summoned fighters from their respective realities together. The victor would then obliterate the loser (and its own respective multiverse). The DC Universe would have been destroyed after the Marvel Universe defeated DC, but the Spectre and the Living Tribunal chose a different course of action and forced the Brothers to combine, resulting in the Amalgam Universe, where various amalgamated versions of the heroes and villains behave as though they have existed for a long time. They had no choice but to intervene in this way since, according to the cosmic order of things, the crossovers were intended to keep the two universes inseparably distinct. Access, a native of both universes, was determined to keep the Brothers apart as their conflict continued.

Description of Kokoro (Tatsu "Betsy" Braddock):

Tatsu "Betsy" Braddock, a metamutant and the fusion of Katana and Psylocke, left her quiet life in England to travel the world and eventually changed into the samurai mercenary known as Kokoro ("Heart", in Japanese). Because of her metamutant powers and ninja training, Kokoro's katana blades are twice as deadly, allowing her to deal both physical and mental attacks. Kokoro learned of this just as Sinistron, an evil android, was about to attack her; however, Magneto and the Magnetic Men arrived in time to save her.
