Synopsis

Since the dawn of creation, the Council has ensured the Balance. To fulfill this task they have the Horsemen, nephilim (beings generated from the unnatural union of angels and demons) who, for this, have been granted immense power. However, this came at a tragic cost: his first task was to eliminate the rest of his species. What followed was a bloody battle in Eden where the Four, obeying the will of the Council, annihilated the Nephilim. Still reeling from those events, War and Strife has been assigned a new mission: Lucifer, the enigmatic and deceptive demon king, has been plotting to upset the Balance by granting, throughout all hell, power to dominate demons. War and Strife must hunt down these masters, gather information, and ultimately fight their way through a tangled demonic conspiracy that threatens to alter the Balance forever, thus destroying all of creation.

Description of Lucifer (The Dark Prince):

The sovereign ruler of the Second Kingdom and therefore the supreme master of demonkind. His rule is opposed by Samael, a demon prince who is said to be second in line to assume the throne of Hell. It is stated by War that the Dark Prince's reign has nearly reached its end.
