Synopsis

It is the early 1990s. Kyo Kusanagi, a formerly delinquent high school student, sets up shop at the City of Southtown (Long Beach, California) with the help of his friends (Benimaru, Daimon, Yuri, Mai, King, Terry, Andy, and Joe). They form a unified, eclectic martial arts gang called "The Children of Southtown" and open a club called "The Flaming Sun" at the heart of the coastal area. A rogue naval captain named Rugal Bernstein steals a US Navy aircraft carrier and threatens world domination through use of such a weapon. He then invites the strongest fighters around the US and elsewhere to participate in an underground fighting tournament called the "King of Fighters." When the "Children of Southtown" hear about this, they rush into action and train to the utmost of their abilities, setting their sights into stopping the aforementioned madman once and for all!

Description of Kyo Kusanagi (Voice):

Kyo Kusanagi is the main male protagonist of the story. Born to the once secretive Kusanagi Ninja Clan, he was taught by his parents Saisyu and Shizuka (first cousins within the family) the power of the flame and assassination fighting arts (Fire Ninjutsu). Many years back, he grew up in Osaka, Japan, with his childhood sweetheart Yuri Sakazaki and close "homeys" Benimaru Nikaido and Goro Daimon. A few years after graduating from Kanetoshi Private School, he opened up a bar called "The Flaming Sun" with his friends from the neighborhood. He aspires to be a rock musician and ultimately take the reins of the Kusanagi name one day.
