Jay Garrick is the first human to become a Green Lantern Corps. He was a member of the Justice Society of America, the world's first superhero team, formed by Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor during World War II. He's currently living in a nursing house in New York along with Max Tennyson, where the nursing house itself secretly becomes a place for retired heroes. He's also the father of Obsidian/Todd Rice and Jade/Jennifer-Lynn Hayden.
