The story follows Tatsumi Oga. He is a first year student at a school for juvenile delinquents called Ishiyama High. The story starts with Oga telling his best friend, Takayuki Furuichi, the strange story of how he found a baby. One day while doing 'laundry' by the river, he saw a man floating downstream. Oga pulled him to shore but the man split in half, revealing a baby boy inside. This baby turned out to be the son of the great demon king, and Oga has been chosen as the one to raise him, along with the baby's maid, Hilda. The drama follows Oga's life as he tries to raise the child while enrolled at Ishiyama High.read more

Tatsumi Oga (男鹿辰巳, Oga Tatsumi) Age: 16 Height: 5'10'' Birthdate: August 31 first introduced as a strong fighter, beating up some classmates and then making them bow down to him because they had attacked him in his sleep. It is revealed that he is relaying the story of a series of strange events which leads to his becoming the Earthly father of the son of the devil, Beelzebub IV. He was picked to become Beelzebub's father because, in the eyes of Alaindelon (see below), who was carrying the baby, he appeared to possess the qualities of the ideal parent for the future Devil King: strong, arrogant, and thinking nothing of his fellow man.
