Synopsis

After witnessing his parents' murder as a child, billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne trains himself to fight injustice and takes on the identity of Batman, a masked vigilante that brings justice to all criminals in Gotham City. When evidence leads him to try and expose the crime lord who ordered his parents' death, Batman must team up with fellow costumed crime fighter Catwoman to take down both the Joker and the Penguin.

Description of Dr. Thomas Wayne:

Dr. Thomas Gabriel Wayne, M.D. (born July 29th, 1930 - October 31st, 1970) was the husband of Martha Wayne and the father of Bruce Wayne, as well as being a gifted surgeon and philanthropist to Gotham City. In 1970, he ran for Mayor in the Gotham City Elections against Oswald Cobblepot, hoping to bring an end to crime in the city. However, Cobblepot ordered his and his wife's murder in a supposed street mugging so that he could win. After this happened, Wayne's son Bruce was inspired to fight crime as the vigilante known as Batman.
