Synopsis

Batman (Buster Crabbe) faces off against two foes: the schizophrenic, horribly scarred former District Attorney Harvey Dent, aka Two-Face (Cary Grant), and the Riddler (Robert Walker), a disgruntled ex-Wayne Enterprises inventor seeking revenge against his former employer by unleashing his brain-sucking weapon on Gotham City's residents. As the caped crusader also deals with tortured memories of his parents' murder, he has a new romance, with psychologist Chase Meridian (Katharine Hepburn).

Description of Edward Nygma (The Riddler):

Edward Nygma is the Riddler, a disgruntled Wayne Enterprises employee with a compulsion to leave riddles after his crimes, daring others to challenge his genius. His intelligence was elevated in an accident involving his invention, the Box, driving him to enlist the help of Two-Face to become the smartest man in the world. However, a fight with Batman caused his machine to fry his brain and drive him mad.
