Synopsis

Young cartographer & linguist Milo Thatch (Grant Gustin), and his younger sister Emily (Taissa Farmiga) the grandchildren of the great Thaddeus Thatch (Kenneth Branagh) works in the boiler room of a museum. They know that Atlantis was real, and they can get there if he has the mysterious Shephards journal, which can guide them to Atlantis. But he needs someone to fund a voyage. His employer thinks he's dotty, and refuses to fund any crazy idea. He returns home to his apartment and finds a woman there. She takes them both to see Preston Whitmore (Christopher Lloyd), an old friend of their grandfather. And he gives them the shepherds journal, a submarine and a crew of explorers to find the empire. They travel through the Atlantic ocean, they all face off against a massive lobster-like Atlantean war machine called the Leviathan, and they finally found the city of Atlantis. But does the Atlantis crew have a lust for discovery, or something else, and Milo not only has to find the ancient city but to save it from the brink of destruction.

Description of Emily Thatch:

Emily Thatch is a young sensitive shy and jaded teenager. Emily was only 3 months old and her brother Milo was 3 years old when their parents died in a railway accident. Emily has a hard time hard time fitting in with the crew. When the crew betrays her and Milo, she has a deep redemption towards them. But she forgives them when they turn their backs against Rourke and Helga. She can have a fiery temper when someone plays a prank or offends her. When Mole and Vinny pour a pitcher of cold ice cubes down the back of her dress. She looks up to see them laughing and gets extremely mad, she slaps Vinny in the face and kicks Mole hard in the genitals, and Mole screams loudly in pain.
