Description of Mike Mackay:

Mike was raised in a series of foster homes, so that explains his turbulent life that ended in a cult where he met Mae, married her, and is having a daughter. Then they escaped a cult, surviving by hitchhiking, but once on the road to El Palma, they get lost and find a lodge. Mike finds it as a safe shelter, and its disabled caretaker named Torgo won't harm them, but soon he realizes there's something wrong with El Palma
