Peter Parker is entering his freshman year of college. Peter has been Spider-Man for about 3 years and has fought some notable villains in the past like the lizard, shocker, doctor octopus and electro. In this film however he will have to face his biggest challenge yet as he faces off against the rhino and sandman who he learns were made by mob boss tombstone in order to distract Spider-Man and destroy buildings to lower the price of the buildings so that he can make a higher profit.
