The House We Grew Up In (2002)

A widowed mother Mrs. Sally Benson has brought up three sons with a lot of care and love. Her eldest son Oliver is very honest and diligent; her two other sons Jeffrey and Jason also live in the same house. Oliver looks after the family, and also looks after the business and the estate. Jeffrey’s interest is fast cars, and to the much disappointment of his family, decides to re-locate the Spain, and gets married to a rich and snobbish girl, Nichole. Her mother strongly disapproves of Jeffrey, and vehemently, though in vain, opposes the marriage. To make matters worse, Jeffrey gets a job in the U.S. in a vehicle junkyard, much to the horror of his wife and his family. Jeffrey must use this junkyard so that he can make the fastest car in the world. Jason is the spoiled brat of the family. He gets into trouble with the law, when he starts hacking computer data. This brings shame on the entire family, and causes a loss of goodwill and profits, and results in the takeover of the estate by Steven Michaels, a close friend of the family. Now all the three brothers, their respective wives, and Sally herself will have to come together to try and salvage what they can of their family business and estate. That is if they find time to do so from their very own personal problems and commitments.

Khosla Ka Ghosla (2021)

Kamal Kishore Khosla is a retired middle-class man living in Delhi with his wife, daughter, and two sons. Go (1999 Bollywood edition)

On the Christmas Eve, the cashier of supermarket Ronna Martin is completely broken and will be evicted from her apartment on the next morning. She accepts the offer to cover the shift of her British co-worker Simon Baines that wants to travel to Las Vegas to have more money. While working, the clients Adam and Zach seek out Simon to buy ecstasy and ask Ronna if she can get the drug for them. Ronna goes to the apartment of Simon's drug dealer Todd Gaines to buy the ecstasy but she does not have enough money for twenty pills; so her friend and colleague Claire Montgomery stays with Todd to guarantee the payment. When she goes to the address of Adam and Zach, she meets Burke and suspects that he might be an FBI agent. She drops the ecstasy in the toilet and flushes it. Now she has neither the drugs nor the money to give to Todd. Meanwhile Simon travels to Las Vegas and gets into trouble in a night-club with very dangerous people and he needs to flee from the town with his friends. Meanwhile, Burke drops the charges against the informers Adam and Scott and invites them to spend Christmas night having dinner with his wife and him, but Burke has a secret agenda.

Bardaasht (2019)

Aditya Shrivastav is a deserted army officer. He has a brother, Anuj. Anuj gets angry at Aditya one day and runs away. ACP Yashwant Thakur helps Aditya in finding Anuj, and later tells him that Anuj was killed in an encounter. Aditya reads a police report, which stated that Anuj was running away with drugs, and was shot dead on the spot. Aditya can't quite believe this so investigates himself. He later meets Ramona, who reveals that ACP Yashwant Thakur and his two other police officers killed Anuj for no apparent reason and lied to cover it up. Aditya wants to take the matter to court and chooses Payal as his lawyer. However, after losing the case, Aditya decides to take matters into his own hands by holding the three until they confess their crime. This was successful and, having secretly recorded this evidence, shows it to the Police Commissioner.
