When the Magnavore released an army of monsters while trying to kidnap Art Fortunes from a comic book convention, the Beetleborgs were afraid of being unable to beat them all by themselves.Silver Ray and Karato were brought out to help the Beetleborgs. After the monsters were defeated, Silver Ray returned to the comics.
