Absolute Superman (2025 - 2032)

In this universe Superman does not grow up with the Kents, does not have a hopeful childhood, and does not become the hero easily. Kal-El’s ship crashes on Earth, but not into a loving farmhouse. He lands near an industrial city, controlled by mega-corporations, private armies and corrupt politicians.

MCU X-Men

The X-Men are officially joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), with a new film and a long-term plan for their integration following the conclusion of the Multiverse Saga around Avengers: Secret Wars. While some individual mutants like Professor X, Namor and Ms. Marvel have appeared in the MCU, the core X-Men team and their universe will be a major focus in Phase 7, likely featuring a younger, new cast after the events of Avengers: Doomsday.

Amazon's James Bond 26 Universe

Now that Amazon has tapped Denis Villeneuve as the franchise’s next director, the pace is about to accelerate significantly on the 26th outing of James Bond. Even still, Amazon is looking at a 2028 release date for Bond 26. Insiders say that the studio and producers are interested in casting a British actor under the age of 30, with Jacob Elordi (“Saltburn”), Tom Holland (“Spider-Man”) and Harris Dickinson (“Babygirl”) at the top of the list.

Ring Shout (Paramount+ Series)

TV adaptation of the acclaimed historical fantasy novella. In 1915, The Birth of a Nation cast a spell across America, swelling the Klan's ranks and drinking deep from the darkest thoughts of white folk. All across the nation they ride, spreading fear and violence among the vulnerable. They plan to bring Hell to Earth. But even Ku Kluxes can die. The Flagellants

A lyrical and evocative novel that tells the story of the stormy and fragmented relationship between Jimson, an aspiring black poet concerned with Afro-American cultural history, and Ideal, a young black woman whose roots are in Black Bottom, USA. Jimson and Ideal meet in Greenwich Village and fall in love, but theirs is a tempestuous affair as they struggle to get beyond the roles a racially oppressive society has forced upon them. The result is a painful and moving exploration of the relations between men and women.
