Nubia: Queen Of The Amazons

Unlike her blessed sister, Nubia was abducted and raised by Ares, the god of war. The girl was hidden from Aphrodite and the other gods; the stolen child, now called Nubia, was raised and trained by Mars in all forms of combat. Ares raised her far from Themyscira, surrounded by male figures, in a world of chaos and violence, training her from a young age to be his fiercest warrior. Since the moment she learned to walk, she was thrust into battle, quickly surpassing all her male peers. Ares treated her almost like an adopted daughter, preparing her to be his supreme champion in his war against the Amazons. As his only female apprentice, she quickly surpassed her male colleagues and even came to lead them. She was meticulously trained as a living weapon. Nubia becomes queen of Themyscira, but the new title also brings challenges. With the unexpected arrival of new Amazons, our hero is forced to reckon with her past and forge a new path forward for her sisters. Little does she know, a great evil grows beneath the island and it’s up to this former guardian of Doom’s Doorway to unite her tribe before paradise is lost forever.

Speaking of Brooklyn, aspiring musician Rufus Humphrey is about to quit making music for good after his childhood friend and co-founder of their band Lincoln Hawk dies from AIDS. Meanwhile back in the UES, the ambitious Bass brothers move from Greenwich to UES ready to put their sibling rivalry aside and take the NY business world by storm. Fables

DCU Justice League

The World's Greatest Super Heroes, the Justice League has endured many roster changes to remain the earth's premiere team of champions. In the Lost Lands

In a dystopian society ruled by Overlord, order is forcibly maintained by the Church. The story centers on a queen who, desperate to fulfill her love, makes a daring play: she sends the powerful and feared sorceress Gray Alys to the ghostly wilderness of the Lost Lands in search of a magical power, where the sorceress and her guide, the drifter Boyce, must outwit and outfight man and demon.

Project Silence

The airport bridge is on the verge of collapse, and all survivors have become targets. Due to worsening weather conditions, the airport bridge has become unpredictable. People are isolated on the bridge, which is on the verge of collapse due to a chain of collisions and an explosion. Amidst this chaos, the military experimental dogs of 'Project Silence', which were being transported in secret, are released, and all survivors become their targets. These dogs indiscriminately attack the survivors, creating an uncontrollable situation. It is revealed that the dogs are originally developed to be a far more effective rescue dogs by making them react to human voices so they can come and rescue the victims. However, the US military with the backing of the US and many European governments decide to turn the dogs into powerful attack dogs to hunt and eliminate terrorists instead, giving birth to Project Silence. The project eventually failed since the dogs are uncontrollable as they often attack its handlers.

Cyborg

Part man, part machine, Vic Stone wrestles to preserve his humanity with every new upgrade. Although he always exhibited a genius level intellect, young Victor Stone didn’t want a life edicated to science and research like his parents. Instead, Vic dreamed of being a football player, and devoted all of his time to becoming a star athlete while he was still in high school. But a tragic twist of fate that should have left him dead instead found him becoming part man and part machine—a Cyborg. Saved by his scientist father after an accident left very little of Victor’s body intact, Dr. Silas Stone used all of his advanced scientific knowledge to save his only child’s life, and to rebuild him into a superior being, one that was arguably now more machine than man. As a cyborg, Vic was now far stronger than the average person, could interface with computers, and emit various types of energy that made him a formidable fighter. Although he ultimately chose the path of the superhero, Victor never fully acclimated to being only partially human. He always carried a sadness within him as he mourns for the normal life he never had. One of the planet’s greatest heroes, Cyborg nevertheless puts all of his internal struggles aside when the time comes to save innocent lives and protect the Earth. Because of his ability to interface with computer systems, perhaps there is no hero more fitting for this modern, digital age.

Aquaman

The son of a lighthouse keeper and an Atlantean queen, Arthur Curry is the bridge between the surface world and his tumultuous realm of the sea. Monarch of the undersea realm of Atlantis and King of the Seven Seas, Aquaman is one of the most powerful DC Super Heroes—commanding a kingdom that covers three-quarters of the Earth’s surface, including all the creatures contained within. Arthur Curry came from humble beginnings, as most of his life was spent exiled from his home, unaware of his noble origins. A founding member of the Justice League of America, Aquaman has fought alongside Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman and held his own against the biggest threats the universe has ever seen. Despite being misunderstood by many as someone who merely “talks to fish,” Aquaman’s super-strength and fighting prowess alone make him a force to be reckoned with. His telepathic abilities make him one of the most powerful minds on the planet. If one chooses to underestimate the sea king, they do so at their own peril.

Planet of the Apes Visionaries

The Princess and the Frog
