Little Ohio

The story is set in a very small American village in Ohio. Over the course of 5 years, 5 different families move in-Charles and Harper and their son Elijah and daughter Bethany as a “normal family,” Henry and his husband Daniel with their adopted daughter Mia, 34-year-old Eileen and her 36-year-old boyfriend James and their 20-year-old son Owen, who is the result of Eileen's rape when she was 14 and in an orphanage from which she was kicked out and met James on the street, Lucas and Amal-a married couple consisting of a Christian and an ex-Muslim who was doused with acid by her ex-husband, who have a daughter Rosalind, and Mateo and Helen along with their son Harry-a family of former criminals who decided to start life anew after being rehabilitated. The series focuses on their lives, struggling with difficulties, intolerance and initially mutual resentment, to which, however, the children prove immune, as they secretly meet in a nearby grove and become friends, thus together devising a plan on how to desist from the resentment and self-hatred of the adults, that is, their parents.

Bloodied Cross

The beginning of the story takes place about 20 years before the First Crusade, in the Middle East. The main character Malik is 15 years old at this point, coming from a Christian family. She is, as a result of the persecution of Christians, murdered by Muslim warriors, Malik manages to escape, however, thanks to the sacrifice of his older brother who drew the attention of the murderers away from him. Malik manages to escape and after many days, weeks of wandering he reaches Europe where he encounters Christian knights who are distrustful of him when he shows them the cross, and when they see his condition they take pity and take him with them. 20 years later, after being raised by the Crusaders and trained, he sets off with them on the Crusade to avenge his family and confront the man who was the leader of his family's murderers.

Years later...

Barry and Phoebe meet in college, both 17 years old. Love blossoms between them, they spend every moment with each other. Eventually they decide to spend the night together. After a few months, Phoebe becomes increasingly unwell. She goes to the doctor. It turns out that she is pregnant. For both her and Barry this comes as a shock. Phoebe's parents forbid her from seeing Barry. Phoebe asks her boyfriend for help and support in spite of this, but he refuses to take responsibility and breaks off contact with her. Barry in order to forget the incident decides to focus on work, Phoebe gives birth to a daughter whom she gives up for adoption. The two never marry after the incident. 30 years pass, Barry is now 47, and neither work nor any pleasures have drowned out his remorse. He decides to find Phoebe and their daughter to repair the relationship. He doesn't know that his ex-girlfriend gave the girl to an orphanage. When he finds Phoebe he has a frank conversation with her and is surprised that she has no contact with their child. The two decide to find the now 30-year-old Rooney(that's what Phoebe called her) who, as it turns out later, has grown into a confident but lonely and closed-off outsider. Nevertheless, they will do their best to bond with her.
