No Time for Tears: Part 3

Another few years have passed since the events of the previous parts. Ruth has quite recently turned 30, while John(for a few years her husband) is slowly approaching 50. They both decide that it is high time to have a child. John, however, first goes to a doctor's appointment to find out if it is safe to have a biological child at his age. During the conversation, the doctor tells him that at his age there are quite a few risks to the baby, so he should get checked out. John, however, on the same day asks other people on one of the online forums whether it's safe to have a biological offspring at this age and whether there is indeed a risk of dangers such as diseases. The answers he gets include: "When I was born my father was almost 60, I'm healthy," "My father was 55, I don't see contraindications," and other assurances that there is nothing to worry about. Together with Ruth, they begin their efforts. His beloved becomes pregnant but after a few months.... a miscarriage occurs. Both are devastated. Tests show that John is to blame. Ruth has a huge grudge against John that he did not listen to the doctor and get checked, he himself has a guilty conscience. After this miscarriage, Ruth is panic-stricken about getting pregnant a second time. When they finally manage to reconcile with each other, they decide to adopt or surrogate.

Three siblings-Carrie, Luke and Oscar-are raised in a pathological family. Their mother cheats on her husband and their father with strange men, and their father is an alcoholic and often violent. However, Carrie, Luke and Oscar do not call the police because deep down they do not want to lose their parents, as they believe they still have a chance to become good people again. One day, wandering in the street, they tiredly sit down on the steps of one of the local churches. A priest named James approaches them and asks what happened. After hearing their story, he is horrified, but decides to help the siblings. Instead of calling the police, he takes a Bible with him, and together with Carrie, Luke and Oscar he sets out to have a difficult but transformative conversation with their parents.

Caitlyn, who suffers from schizophrenia, has a best friend named Jeremy. There is one but-he is a figment of her imagination. They spend every free moment with each other, talk to each other, even fall in love with each other. He understands her like no one else. Her family, of course, does not see him and eventually sends Caitlyn to a mental hospital. He accompanies her during her treatment, but with each week of her stay he is by her side less and less, until he finally leaves her. Caitlyn who after many months is cured leaves the psychiatric hospital. However, every day she feels the absence of Jeremy more and more, she does not see him, she feels lonely. He has left her forever. At least that's what she thought. While attending group therapy, she meets a man who looks like Jeremy, and even has that name! This man also suffered from schizophrenia like Caitlyn, and what's more- He had an imaginary girlfriend named Caitlyn. They start spending time with each other and fall in love with each other.

The beginning of the story's action takes place in the British Raj, in the year 1898. A young woman named Maryam is to be married off to a wealthy man much older than her, named Kabir. Not wanting this, she decides to flee her home at night and begins to hide in anxiety and fear on the streets from the family looking for her. The girl fears for her life and accusations of dishonor. A few days later, she is found by a young man named Oliver Griffiths-he is an Englishman who has come to British Raj to claim property from his deceased father who owned a mansion here. After hearing her story, he decides to take her back to Britain with him. He realizes, however, that this carries certain risks, due to the racial prejudice of some of his family.
