The Rose That Never Wilt

Set in England in 1816, the story, "The Rose That Never Wilt," depicts the fate of Elizabeth, a single maiden in her thirties who fails to marry because of what society considers her supposed ugliness. Her escape from reality is tending a garden, especially a unique rose that never wilts. This rose is preserved for the man who will love her. When Charles, a young architect hired to renovate a nearby mansion, enters her life, their encounters in the garden become more frequent. Something I remember...

A dementia-suffering, 91-year-old World War II veteran-Henry Elliot-is resting in a London hospice. His family brings with them to the hospice a certain small gift-it is a memento of his wife Annabel, who has been dead for several years. It is her old heart-shaped necklace-inscribed inside the necklace are the names "Henry" and "Annabel." When the man looks at the necklace something unbelievable happens- He carefully takes the necklace from his son's hands, examines it and... He begins to tell the unusual love story of him and Annabel. With an astonishing amount of detail. From their getting to know each other during their school years, to the outbreak of war and writing letters to each other, putting their lives back together after the war ended, the birth of their son, and the death of his wife.

Tale of Buryshire

The story is set in medieval England, in a small Buryshire village. At the center of the story is the Bury family. James Bond is sent to Australia to investigate a series of mysterious disappearances of valuable minerals that are crucial to global energy security. The traces lead to an influential industrialist, Andrew Bailey, who allegedly has legitimate interests in the mining industry, but MI6 has suspicions that he is behind the mysterious events. Bond lands in Sydney, where he meets Carrie, a brave and determined investigative reporter who has been conducting an independent investigation into Bailey for years. 110 Years Later

The story is set on December 24, 2024, in the conflict-ridden areas of the Israeli-Palestinian border. The two areas are divided by a massive wall, but the two peoples do not stop fighting each other. All this is watched by a grieving God who asks his son for a moment and shows him the situation. In doing so, he reminds him of December 24, 1914, an event that took place 110 years ago. At that time, God, watching an equally cruel conflict asked his son Jesus to come down to Earth and spread love, friendship and understanding among the warring parties at least for a moment. Then German and English soldiers spent Christmas Eve together in friendship and kindness, reminding each other what love for one's neighbor is. So Jesus descends to Earth and walks by the border wall. Although both Palestinians and Israelis do not see him, they feel something unusual in their hearts-love and forgiveness. Although they don't celebrate Christmas Eve every year, this day is an exception-they spend it together. Jesus and his Father watch everything with joy and tears of emotion.

When Johnny Comes Marching Home

The story begins in 1861. Jacob Colley-a 46-year-old man, father of three children, two daughters and one son, with whom he lives on a farm in the state of Wisconsin-has been seriously ill for some time. However, due to the outbreak of the Civil War, he receives a draft into the army. Despite his illness, he is forced to join the Union army and take part in the conflict with the hostile Confederacy. His son-17-year-old Johnny, however, does not want to let his father due to his terrible health, so he decides to join the army for him. When he talks to his parents about it, an argument initially ensues between them. However, the boy eventually convinces them that he will manage and promises them that he will definitely return, and not in a coffin. At the military commission he raises his age(he must be 18) and goes off to the war from which he promised to return alive.
