Robert's Rebellion changed the world of Westeros permanently when Robert Baratheon usurped the throne from the Mad King Aerys Targaryen. With the assistance from Eddard Stark and Jon Arryn, the rebellion shook the world. The Rebellion was over after Ser Jaime Lannister assassinated King Aerys, and Robert Baratheon killed Rhaegar Targaryen on the battlefield.
