Seemingly solving the financial crisis with a wave of his hand, he declares the curbing of vigilantes the main focus of his Presidency, even forming a government Super Team. Understandably, Superman is pissed. Soon, it's discovered that a Kryptonite meteor the size of a small country is headed towards Earth and will impact in seven days. While President Luthor tries fighting it off with rockets, Batman slyly hints he's "working on something with one of his contacts". Luthor proposes to meet with Superman to discuss the threat; it turns out to be an ambush where Secret Service Agent John Corben (Metallo) lays the smackdown on the Man of Steel until Batman bails him out. In the aftermath of the ambush, however, Metallo is found murdered. Luthor frames Superman, citing mental imbalance due to the meteor, and places a bounty on his head.

The Perfect Shōnen Anime
In a world where young men strive to be the best martial artist, the MC starts out a friendless, Book Dumb underdog. However, he does have prodigious talent, and a cheerful, friendly personality that gradually draws friends and allies to his side. When faced with a stronger opponent, the hero relies on his past and friends to fuel his determination (of which he already has an absurd amount to begin with) and win.

The Perfect Teen Superhero Cartoon
I am going to perfect the tropes of a common teen suphero cartoon. It has a normal kid (a charming, dashing-yet lovably dorky- hero) who winds up to be the greatest badass of all time as well as the greatest hero of all time. He has a supporting cast consisting of a pragmatic yet fun-loving best friend/comic relief, an independent but supportive and cheerful love interest, an flawed but well-meaning scientist father, an aloof long-lost brother, and an arch enemy who is simultaneously a looming threat as well as a scenery chewing, memorable quote-spewing, over-the-top ham. Oh, and his friends are superheroes, too. Starring: Steve Blum Jack De Sena Cherami Leigh Adam McArthur Phil LaMarr

Blazing Saddles
In this satirical take on Westerns, crafty railroad worker Bart becomes the first black sheriff of Rock Ridge, a frontier town about to be destroyed in order to make way for a new railroad. Initially, the people of Rock Ridge harbor a racial bias toward their new leader. However, they warm to him after realizing that Bart and his perpetually drunk gunfighter friend are the only defense against a wave of thugs sent to rid the town of its population.
