I love comics, so I wanted to make a universe which felt like a definitive adaptation with a buddy of mine. Here are all my castings for it. I try to make these casts as well-informed by the comics as possible, but I can make mistakes, so my mind may change on some of these.

DC Characters I Need Help Casting

DCSV’s New Gods

This is my fancast for a series taking place in a new universe called DCSV. I love the New Gods. I am a big fan of the old Jack Kirby stuff from the comics, and I love the more modern Mister Miracle stuff from Tom King as well. Special thanks to @samkresil for suggesting Adrianne Palicki as Big Barda.

DCSV’s Green Arrow & Black Canary

This is my fancast for a Green Arrow and Black Canary franchise set within a new universe called DCSV. I love Green Arrow and Black Canary, and I adore their comics. Black Canary specifically is probably one of my favourite DC characters of all time. This doesn’t mean I can’t make miscasts though, of course. Feel free to share your own fancasts with me!

DCSV’s The Flash

This is my fancast for a Flash franchise in a new universe called DCSV. I am a comics fan, though I have to admit, I am more familiar with Wally West as the Flash than I am with Barry. That’s not to say I haven’t read any Flash comics about Barry, because I have, though I may not be as informed as more hardcore Barry Allen fans. Note that I have not watched the CW Flash show, so these fancasts are entirely influenced purely off of the comic book source material.

These are my fancasts for a Wonder Woman trilogy taking place in a brand new universe called DCSV. Though I am a big Wonder Woman comics fan, I am not immune to miscasts. My decisions are generally informed but I sometimes stumble. Tell me what you think of these picks!

DCSV’s Superman

These are the casting choices I’ve made for a Superman story set in a universe called DCSV. It is intended to be a series. You’ll see some familiar faces in the world of Superman and ones that may be more obscure. For what it’s worth, I am a big Superman comics fan. That doesn’t mean I can’t make miscasts, though I do feel like I’m at the very least a little more informed than the average superhero fancaster. These choices are not based on appearance. Sure, that’s a factor, but usually, especially with more complex and notable characters, acting ability comes first and foremost.
